Meetings

The Network plans seven conferences that will allow trainees to present their work and interact with senior researchers in formulating further research plans. The meetings also allow the scientific committee to monitor the progress of the various teams in meeting their goals and the quality of their interaction in the training programme and in promoting the main themes of the network. Meetings will also be used in order to involve researchers from outside the Network in the workings of the group, bringing in fresh ideas and helping to recruit young researchers.

Sixth meeting of the Microdata RTN

The sixth meeting of the Microdata RTN will be held in Uppsala, Sweden June 15 to June 18 (Sunday to Wednesday).

Sunday 15 (afternoon) - Monday 16 (all day)

Workshop
Workshop with "Microdata" presentations by post-docs, junior and senior researchers of the RTN.

Tuesday 17 (all day) - Wednesday 18 (morning)

Master Class
Master Class by Andrew Chesher (UCL and cemmap, who will give six 90 minute sessions on "Identification"

Outline of lectures

It is primarily for the trainees of the RTN (post-docs and PhD students),but other PhD students and post-docs are also welcome to attend.

The country coordinators are to nominate 3 presenters of "Microdata" papers. The idea for the workshop is to have 30 minute presentations with an additional 10 minutes of discussion.

IFAU will take care of lunches and also of dinners on Sunday and Monday evening.
